When you visit this website
This website provides game information, locally hosted media and fonts, and links to Steam. It does not provide accounts, contact forms or payments. We have not added analytics, advertising trackers, custom cookies or browser localStorage to the website.
Delivering a page still requires network requests. The hosting provider and its infrastructure may process IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, timestamps and security or request logs for delivery, protection and operation. This site therefore does not promise that no data is processed.
On the root home page, a same-origin request to this site's Cloudflare infrastructure uses an IP-derived country or region code to choose a language. The website uses only that code for this choice, does not separately record the lookup or send it to an independent geolocation service, and creates no language-preference cookie. If the code is unavailable or unmatched, English is used. Explicit language URLs and manual selection take priority.
Hosting & external links
Hosting infrastructure is provided through OpenAI services; consult the OpenAI Privacy Policy for its applicable practices. Infrastructure retention and handling follow the relevant provider’s policies; this notice does not set a separate retention period for their logs.
Following a Steam store, community or support link takes you to a separate service. Steam may use its own accounts, cookies and data processing under the Steam Privacy Policy Agreement. This website does not receive your Steam password or complete a Steam sign-in.
Game saves & Steam Cloud
The Steam desktop game stores gameplay progress, starter supplies, settings and local playtest statistics on your device. Local save profiles are separated by the detected Steam account, with a separate guest profile when Steam is unavailable. The desktop save vault encrypts its local game files.
The game integrates with Steam Cloud for account gameplay progress and supplies when Steam Cloud is available and enabled. Language, settings and playtest statistics stay local. Cloud transfers and Steam’s local cache are handled by Steam; local vault encryption is not a promise of end-to-end encryption for Steam Cloud. A successful local save or handoff to Steam does not by itself confirm an upload or another device’s recovery.
Local playtest statistics
The game records local session and run information such as timestamps, difficulty, play mode, duration, outcome, task counts, replay timing and optional end-of-run survey answers. These statistics are kept locally and are not automatically uploaded by the game’s playtest-statistics module or included in Steam Cloud saves.
The in-game statistics panel lets you copy an export or clear its recorded statistics. If you choose to share an export or diagnostic material, review it first and remove information you do not want to disclose. Clearing statistics does not delete Steam account information or provider infrastructure logs.
Playing online
The Steam desktop build uses Steam lobby and networking services to connect two players and exchange gameplay state. Steam identifiers are used to associate profiles and validate lobby participants. The desktop build does not silently switch to the browser prototype’s networking if Steam is unavailable.
A separate browser prototype uses browser localStorage for unencrypted saves and PeerJS/WebRTC for networking. It may use public signaling, STUN and an optional TURN relay, whose providers process connection information needed to establish or relay a session. These browser-prototype behaviors do not describe storage used by this information website.
Questions, requests & updates
For privacy questions or requests relating to the game, open its Steam support listing and use a developer contact route if one is available there. Valve’s support service is separate from the developer. The Steam community is appropriate for public gameplay feedback; do not post account identifiers, save files or other personal information publicly.
The developer and publisher names shown on Steam are Uncle Popper and Uncle Popper game. This notice will be revised if website features or game data practices change. Its date identifies this version.
